My Zazzle store is the easiest and fastest way to get Hapa Girl Designs cards. You can customize these cards with your own info, but customers cannot modify the designs as they would be able to when working directly with me on my Etsy site. The cards also only come in one size whereas working with me on Etsy you would be able to choose the size cards you want and I offer a variety of printing methods. But, there is no denying, buying cards through Zazzle, if you're in a hurry, is the best way to send those greetings to friends and family.

My First Custom Order

I am nearing completion for my very first custom order through my Hapa Girl Designs business on Etsy. Lori Porten, owner of Love Hazel a modern custom children's clothing designer, asked me to design "the works" for her. I created a custom graphics package for her that would help her get started selling on Etsy. This package included a logo design, business card, Etsy store banner, avatar, postcard, label, etc. Lori has been wonderful to work with and I feel this is a start of a long lasting business relationship.





I am finding that graphic design is truly my niche. I have dabbled in all different kinds of medium throughout the years, but this is where I truly feel comfortable. It's almost therapeutic for me especially now that I am my own boss. There's something to be said for "loving what you do".

Cards for many occasions

What have I been doing lately? Designing cards for all occasions. It's been really fun getting back to something I really enjoy doing. I have already had quite a big success with my Baby Sea Turtles baby shower invitations and birth announcements so I decided to take it a step further and apply my other animal designs to cards. I also have quite a bit of experience designing cards when I worked in corporate America. My last company utilized my talents quite a bit having me design all sorts of invites for their events. But, I am not just doing baby shower invites and birth announcements. I am tapping into wedding, birthday, business cards and stationery. It will take some time to build up inventory (or should I say digital inventory). I offer my cards digitally for anyone to take to any photo finisher or printer of their choice. But, customers can also choose printing their cards through me. All in all, it has been fun and exciting starting something new and I am feeling very hopeful that this will be a fun little side business.
